Hubei Bureau of Nuclear Geology is the only nuclear geological exploration unit in Hubei Province. Founded in 1955, it once belonged to the Ministry of Geology, the Second Machinery Department and the Ministry of Nuclear Industry. 1999 was placed under the management of Hubei Provincial People's Government. According to the classification of government agencies in China, the main hall bureau-level institutions are the highest-level institutions with higher administrative level and management authority.
