Construction progress of Wuhan Greenland International Financial City

On December 8, 2010, Wuhan Greenland International Financial City officially started construction. The core "Greenland Center" will be built as a 606-meter super high-rise building. After completion, it will become the first in Central China and the second in China. , the fourth tallest building in the world. The project is located in the core area of ??Wuchang Binjiang Business District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, with a total construction area of ??3 million square meters. Greenland Group has invested 30 billion yuan and plans to build a 606-meter super high-rise building with a five-star hotel and international Grade A offices. , high-end commercial and top-level apartments are integrated into an urban complex.

On the same day, Greenland Group signed a cooperation agreement with the American Marriott International Hotel Group and a project cooperation letter of intent with the Charoen Pokphand Group of Thailand.

Among them, Marriott Group will operate the platinum five-star hotel in the Financial City project; while Charoen Pokphand Group will participate in the operation and management of the commercial part of the Financial City and build a high-end shopping mall.

In addition, Greenland Group signed bank-enterprise cooperation agreements with Bank of China and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China to lay the financial foundation for project development.

It is reported that the land used for the project is the Wuhan Wuchang Vehicle Factory land, which was won by Shanghai Greenland Group on November 25 for 5.398 billion yuan.

According to data, the total area of ??the land is 413 acres. It is used for residential, commercial and financial purposes, with a buildable housing area of ??1.55 million square meters. The building height stipulates that "the height of the main public buildings along the river shall not be lower than 600 meters", it will be a large-scale living city after completion.
