In 1970, a modern oil processing base, Shandong Kenli Petrochemical Co., Ltd., was built at the tail end of the Yellow River, the mother river of the Chinese nation, and the birthplace of Shengli Oilfield. In the past 40 years, through the unremitting efforts of Kenli Petrochemical people, it has developed into a large state-owned enterprise group with assets of 3.5 billion yuan. The company's subsidiaries include Kenli Refinery, Dongying Hongyuan Textile Co., Ltd., Dongying Huadeli Glass Wool Products Co., Ltd., Kenli Huineng Thermal Power Co., Ltd., Kenli County Winery, Dongying Sanxie Chemical Co., Ltd. The company’s main refining business has a primary processing capacity of 2.3 million tons per year. It has chemical supporting equipment such as atmospheric and vacuum distillation, catalytic cracking, delayed coking, catalytic reforming, hydrogen production, hydrogenation, gas separation, propylene, etherification, MTBE, methanol, sodium hydrosulfide, environmental protection facilities, and 300,000 ingots of combing. Yarn textile project, 20,000 tons/year centrifugal glass wool production line, 3,000 tons/year traditional brewing, 2×15MW cogeneration and other projects.
