Is the tree root carving well maintained with peanut oil?

Not so good. Carving techniques can be divided into stone carving and wood carving. Wood carving refers to all kinds of humanistic landscape paintings carved by sculptors on one kind of wood, and tree root carving is one of them. After the wood carving is completed, it is necessary to brush a layer of tung oil on the wood carving for long-term preservation. Tung oil is the oil produced by lacquer tree, which is specially used to brush wood products. Peanut oil is edible oil, therefore, peanut oil cannot be used to maintain tree root carving.
