Brief introduction of Zhongshan Hospital of Wuhan University

Zhongshan Hospital in Hubei Province was founded in 195 1, formerly known as Wuhan Military Region General Hospital. In June, 2002, it was transferred from the military management to the Health Department of Hubei Province, and changed to its current name. It is a state-level non-profit medical institution sponsored by the government and affiliated to Zhongshan Hospital of Wuhan University School of Medicine. It is a "third-class first-class hospital" and "baby-friendly hospital" assessed by the state.
