As two neighboring towns, in fact, from the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the Republic of China, the construction and opening of the Longhai Railway, in about 500 years of history, Sanyuan and Jingyang once replaced the position of Xi 'an northwest financial center, transportation hub and cultural and educational center.

For a long time, Sanyuan County and Jingyang County can be said to have been honored and lost, but now the development of Jingyang County is seriously separated from the existing policies.
