Jinghai Affiliated School of Beijing Normal University is a non-profit innovative twelve-year school founded by Beijing Normal University and Jinghai District People's Government of Tianjin on September 8, 2008 in accordance with the principle of "government-led, institutional innovation and independent running". The partners of the two sides make full use of the resource advantages of Beijing Normal University in basic education, establish a high-quality education carrier that satisfies the society, and build a regionalized, branded and standardized school. There are three departments in the school: primary school, junior high school and senior high school. The designed school scale is 120 classes, including 60 classes in primary school, 30 classes in junior high school and 30 classes in senior high school.

All teachers in the school are recruited and trained by Beijing Normal University Education Group for the whole country.
