China Rice Research Institute, also known as Rice Research Institute of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences, is a research institution under China Academy of Agricultural Sciences. There are 74 researchers, 48 associate researchers and 0/2 engineers/kloc, including 22 doctoral supervisors and 42 master supervisors. The research fields of China Rice Research Institute include rice genetics and breeding, rice physiology and biochemistry, rice molecular biology, rice ecology and environment. It is the earliest scientific research institution engaged in rice genetics and breeding research in China, and one of the earliest institutions engaged in rice molecular genetics research in China.
