What do Suzhou prison programmers do to serve their sentences?

Prisoners in prisons are generally engaged in lathes, textiles, coal mines, farm farming, feeding and so on. If they have special skills, they can be electricians, cooks, carpenters, doctors and teachers.

Suzhou Prison was founded in the second year of Xuantong in Qing Dynasty (19 10), which was the product of the improvement of prison system in Qing Dynasty. It was renamed many times in the late Qing Dynasty. Because of the local place name Shizikou, it is also commonly known as Shizikou Prison. Together with Nanjing Laohuqiao Prison and Shanghai Tilanqiao Prison, it is called the three major prisons in the Republic of China, and it is a high-security prison for holding felons.
