What is TEF?

TEF French proficiency test

TEF is responsible for setting questions, marking papers and passing the French proficiency test organized by its overseas branches. To apply for a French student visa, you must provide TEF test scores. You don't need to take the TEF test to go to an English-teaching school, but you must have a TOEFL score. Alliance Franciase is a French official educational institution with a history of 100 years, with branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan and Guangzhou.

TEF is a new authority level test. By testing applicants' French comprehension and expression ability, TEF will comprehensively evaluate their French level and conduct quality analysis step by step. Candidates for the French proficiency test can test their French proficiency through TEF, so as to prepare for further study in France or working in French-funded enterprises. TEF scores can be used as the basis for testing students' French level in French universities, so as to recommend suitable courses for students. TEF score can be used as one of the reference conditions for French enterprises to recruit overseas employees. TEF French proficiency test, as a qualification test of language proficiency, has been recognized by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
