According to relevant information, Chaoshan Jieyang Airport will be expanded in 2022. The expansion project started construction on February 28, 2020. The construction of the south passenger apron and the airport operation control center building has been completed. The domestic terminal building and some supporting projects are being expanded. At present, the expansion project has completed a total investment of 1.820 billion yuan and is scheduled to be completed and put into production by the end of 2022. Therefore, Chaoshan Jieyang Airport will be expanded in 2022.
