Introduction of Yangshan New District

Yangshan New District was established in June 2003, with a planned total area of 76 square kilometers, including 30.7 square kilometers in the starting area. It is Xinyang's new political, economic, cultural and educational center. The new area governs Yangshan, Qianjin, Nanjing Road and Longfei Mountain, with an existing population of 6.5438+0.4 million. Located at the junction of Hubei, Henan and Anhui provinces, the new area is the "umbilical area" of going north, going south of the Yangtze River, entering wuyue and Sichuan and Shaanxi. Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Hefei and other big cities are all within the three-hour economic circle. Yangshan New District has convenient transportation. Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and Ningxi Railway form a "double cross" in the new area, and 107 National Highway, 3 12 National Highway and Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Passenger Dedicated Line crisscross in the new area.
