Brief Introduction of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical College

The Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical College was established in June1952+1October 65438, and has been rated as a provincial civilized hospital for five consecutive years. 1February 1995 was rated as an advanced unit of the national health system by the Ministry of Health. There are more than 300 employees/kloc-0, including 53 with senior titles/kloc-0 and 700 with intermediate titles. Business departments: gastroenterology, respiratory medicine, hematology and nephrology, cardiovascular medicine, endocrinology, neurology, general surgery, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopedics, urology, burns, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics, traditional Chinese medicine, dermatology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, pathology, nuclear medicine, radiology, interventional radiology. There are also provincial burn research centers and provincial hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery research centers. Among them, Burn Department, Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, Ophthalmology and Endocrinology Department were identified as provincial key specialties by the Provincial Health Department. There are 950 beds in the hospital, and 12 clinical specialties recruit graduate students for the whole country. The hospital has large-scale advanced equipment such as new spiral CT, new whole-body CT, digital subtraction angiography machine, large hyperbaric oxygen chamber and automatic biochemical analyzer.
