Are there national and provincial examinations for teacher recruitment?

There is no unified examination form and syllabus for teacher recruitment examination in China, and some provinces implement unified examinations throughout the province. However, in most provinces, the local district and county education bureaus summarize the teachers recruited by local schools, and then the district and county education bureaus and personnel bureaus organize recruitment examinations in a unified way. The examination forms are generally divided into written examination and interview, and some areas directly conduct written examination without interview.
