Introduction of Southwest Jiaotong University: Founded in 1896, Southwest Jiaotong University was formerly known as Shanhaiguan Beiyang Railway Academy, Tangshan Jiaotong University and Tangshan Railway Institute. It is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning in modern China, and is known as the cradle of railway engineers in China and the Cornell in the East.

Teaching building; Teaching Building No.1: Located on the west side of Zhi Ming Road in the South District, you can reach it by crossing Hongqiao. The main function is daily teaching. The fifth and sixth floors are pronunciation classrooms, and the first floor is equipped with a foreign language salon. The Foreign Languages Institute and the Student Working Group of Mao Yisheng University are working in the No.1 teaching building. Teaching Building No.2: Located on the west side of Zhi Ming Road in the South District, you can reach it by crossing X Bridge. The main function is daily teaching, and there is an electronic reading room on the first floor. Most college students' working groups work in teaching building 2. Teaching Building No.4: Located between Teaching Building No.2 and the library, its main function is daily teaching. Teaching Building No.5: It is located on the east side of Zhi Ming Road in the South District, opposite to Teaching Building No.2. Teaching Building No.5 consists of some experimental centers and some special classrooms. Teaching Building No.6: Located on the east side of Zhi Ming Road, South District, opposite to Teaching Building 1 ... Teaching Building No.6 is the experimental center. Teaching Building No.7: It is located on the east side of Zhi Ming Road in the South District and on the south side of Teaching Building No.6. Most of Teaching Building No.7 is an experiment center. From the first floor to the fourth floor, there are several special classrooms for computer experiments and some electronic reading rooms for students to surf the Internet with one card. Teaching Building No.8: Located in the North District, next to the library. There is a professional painting and design classroom in Teaching Building 8. The student working groups of the School of Art Communication and the School of Architecture work in Teaching Building 8.

Library: Located in the north area, between Teaching Building No.8 and Teaching Building No.2, the library has a Chinese book lending room, a basic collection reading room, a newspaper reading room, an electronic reading room and an audio-visual appreciation hall. Most functional departments of the school work in the library.

Sports venues. Xipu Campus has 1 gymnasium, 3 football fields, 2 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, 1 tennis courts, 3 table tennis courts, 1 swimming pool, 1 skating rink and 1 badminton court. South Zone 1 Football Stadium: Located in the west section of Qin Jing Road, south of No.2 Building of Tianyouzhai, surrounded by plastic lawns and standard plastic runways, it is 1 1 Football Stadium. Centered on the football field, there are 9 volleyball courts in the south, 12 basketball courts in the east and an ice rink in the west. Shopping index. Shopping on campus. Shopping on campus is mainly concentrated in the student living service area in the south and the commercial street in the north, with bookstores, printing shops, boutiques, clothing stores, snack bars, cake shops, pharmacies and barbershops. The larger supermarkets mainly include Haomeijia Supermarket in the south (the third canteen is on the first floor) and Hongqi Supermarket in the north (the commercial street in the north). South Gate of Xipu Campus: There are Reciprocal Supermarket, Hongqi Supermarket, Hongyun Supermarket, and various stores such as clothing and groceries outside the South Gate. Wal-Mart: Take bus 1 19 and get off at Jiaotong University Road West Station. Wal-Mart supermarket is the first choice for students in Xipu campus to shop in large supermarkets with complete goods, moderate prices and convenient transportation. Tourist traffic. School bus. The school runs a school bus between Xipu Campus and Jiuli Campus. The departure time from Xipu to Jiuli is 7:20-2 1:30, and from Jiuli to Xipu is 7:50-22: 10, with rolling departure (see bus timetable for specific time). There are sites in the south and north of Xipu Campus. It takes about 25 minutes by car between the two campuses, and the fare is 2 yuan. Jinsha Bus Station Jinsha Bus Station is located outside the Second Ring Road. The shuttle buses from Jinsha Bus Station are mainly sent to Wenjiang, Xinjin, Meishan, Pixian and Longquan. Transportation: Take bus No.311at the south gate of Xipu campus to the terminal. The shuttle bus from Jinsha Bus Station arrives at Chongzhou, Dayi, Xiling Snow Mountain, Huashuiwan and Jiulonggou. Other means of transportation. High-speed rail Xipu high-speed railway station: It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the west gate of Xipu Campus. Catering service. Xiaomi Garden-A canteen (located in the south area) Xiaomi Garden provides all kinds of stir-fried dishes, stews and hot dishes. There are many snacks, especially rice porridge. Xipu Campus Hospital is located in the south of a canteen behind the water room, and it is available 24 hours a day (doctors only deal with emergency patients at night). Pixian Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine: Take Bus No.708 at the south gate of Xipu Campus to xipu town, and walk about180m. Highway Bureau Hospital of Sichuan Provincial Communications Department: Take Bus No.748 at the south gate of Xipu Campus to Xihu Street, and walk about 100 meters. Huaxi Hospital: Take the bus to Jiulidi Bus Station or Jiuli Campus, then transfer to Bus No.93, 109 and Bus No.340 to Jiangxi Street, and walk for about 400 meters.
