The predecessor of Western Airport Group Qinghai Airport Co., Ltd. was the Civil Aviation Administration established in 1963. 1. Caojiabao Airport in Xining

Xining, the capital of Qinghai Province, is located in the east of Qinghai, on the upper reaches of Huangshui River, a tributary of the Yellow River, surrounded by mountains, where the three rivers converge, with no severe cold in winter and no severe heat in summer. It is a natural summer resort and is known as the "Summer Capital of China".

Xining Caojiabao Airport is located in Gaozhai Township, Huzhu County, east of Xining City, Qinghai Province, with an altitude of 2,179 meters and 28 kilometers away from the center of Xining. It is a domestic 4D-class trunk airport, which can meet the take-off and landing of similar aircraft below B-757-2.

Since the joint reorganization, Qinghai's air transport production has developed rapidly.
