Shenyang Social Work Certificate Application Requirements 2023 Exam Time

The 2023 Liaoning social worker examination will be held from June 10th to 11th.

1. Social workers are a profession launched by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. In 2004, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security formally determined a new national profession and became the ninth batch of new professions on July 1 of the same year. The profession officially promulgates national professional standards to the society and incorporates them into the national professional ceremony.

2. The Social Workers Professional Level Examination is jointly organized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, aiming to professionalize the social work team. The exam is usually organized in June every year, and you need to register on the province's human resources website (see the province's website for details). The registration requirements for social workers are very strict.

3. Obtain a nationally recognized college degree in social work. Obtain a nationally recognized college degree in social work-related majors, receive the required standard hours of formal social worker training at Level 4, and obtain a completion certificate.

4. Those born after 1959, have obtained a technical secondary school degree or equivalent, have been engaged in social work continuously for more than 3 years, have received the required standard hours of formal training as a social worker at level 4, and obtained a completion certificate.

5. Obtain a nationally recognized master's degree in social work. Obtain a nationally recognized bachelor's degree in social work and have been engaged in social work for more than 2 years. Obtain a bachelor's degree or above in a nationally recognized social work-related major (including bachelor's degree), engage in social work continuously for more than 3 years, have completed the required standard hours of formal training as a social worker at level 3, and obtain a completion certificate.
