What's the difference between an electrical engineer and an instrument engineer?

Electrical engineers tend to have strong electricity, that is, AC 220V, 380V or medium voltage. The weak current part of instrument engineering deals more with electronics. Electrical engineer refers to the professional and technical personnel who have obtained the Qualification Certificate of People's Republic of China (PRC) Registered Electrical Engineer and are engaged in electrical engineering design and related business.

Instrumentation engineer refers to professional technicians who are engaged in the design, installation and maintenance of instruments and meters in industrial automation instruments and control systems, scientific instruments, electronic and electrical measuring instruments, medical instruments, various professional instruments, sensors and instrument components, functional materials and other industries.

At present, the work scope of electrical engineers is roughly divided into electrical equipment control, electrical equipment installation, PLC and so on. The work scope of instrument engineer is mainly to manage the installation and debugging of instruments and automation equipment.
