With the approval of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, China Bank was established on February 5, 19 12. [1][2] Headquartered in Beijing, it is a large state-owned bank managed by the central government and a national vice-ministerial unit. Bank of China is a note-issuing bank in Hongkong and Macau.
