Article 66.8 Application Conditions of Basic Parts

The applicant for the basic part of the maintenance personnel license shall meet the following conditions:

(b) Have at least one of the following experiences:

(1) Having a technical secondary school degree or above in aviation technology-related major, and having been engaged in aircraft maintenance work of the applied major independently for more than 2 years (inclusive), in which civil aircraft maintenance work of the applied major should be continued before the application date 1 year;

(2) Having been independently engaged in aircraft maintenance work of the applied major for more than 3 years (inclusive), in which civil aircraft maintenance work of the applied major should be continuously engaged before the application date 1 year;

(3) Having been trained by a training institution recognized by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and having obtained a certificate of qualification for basic training of applied majors issued by it.

(c) Be able to read and write correctly the technical documents and characters used in the management procedures related to the applied major.

According to your situation, you need to be engaged in maintenance for more than 2 years before you can register.
