What qualifications do you need for light medical beauty?

Medical personnel who need to register in the medical cosmetology department and related secondary diagnosis and treatment subjects are qualified as doctors. Engaged in medical beauty care, should have the qualification of a nurse, registered by the nurse registration authority, with more than 2 years of nursing experience, or engaged in medical beauty clinical nursing for more than 6 months, with nursing professional training or scientific research qualifications.

The attending physician responsible for implementing the medical beauty project must meet the following conditions:

Having the qualification of a medical practitioner and being registered by a medical registration authority;

Experience in related clinical disciplines;

Personnel responsible for implementing cosmetic surgery projects must have more than 6 years of clinical experience in cosmetic surgery and plastic surgery;

The personnel responsible for implementing the cosmetic dentistry project should have more than 5 years of clinical experience in cosmetic dentistry or stomatology;

Responsible for the implementation of cosmetic Chinese medicine and cosmetic dermatology projects, and should have more than 3 years of clinical experience in Chinese medicine and dermatology respectively;

Received medical cosmetology training, and passed the training or engaged in medical cosmetology clinical work 1 year or more;

Other conditions stipulated by the administrative department of health of the provincial people's government.

Article 24 of the Measures for the Administration of Medical Beauty Services stipulates that no unit or individual may carry out medical beauty services without obtaining the Practice License of Medical Institutions and being approved by the registration authority to carry out medical beauty diagnosis and treatment. Article 19 of the "Measures" stipulates that the responsibility system of attending doctors shall be implemented for medical beauty services. Medical beauty projects must be implemented by or under the guidance of the attending physician. It can be seen that ordinary beauty salons and people without medical qualifications have no right to provide medical beauty services. Therefore, in the trial of the case, in addition to requiring beauty salons to provide business licenses and hygiene licenses, they should also be required to provide the practice licenses of medical institutions and the qualification certificates of relevant personnel. Beauty salons that fail to provide corresponding materials within the prescribed time limit shall be regarded as not qualified to engage in medical beauty.
