After 2012, the teacher qualification examination will be integrated into a model that combines unified examination points and provincial examinations. By 2018, all provinces except Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, and Tibet will have included the unified examination for teacher qualifications. The examination will be conducted by the Ministry of Education Examination Center and administered by the local education examination bureau.
