Brief introduction of Chinese academy of tropical agricultural sciences

Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "Academy of Thermal Sciences") is a bureau-level scientific research institution directly under the Ministry of Agriculture, one of the "Three Institutes" directly under the Ministry of Agriculture, and a central-level social public welfare scientific research unit specializing in tropical agricultural scientific and technological innovation. Headquartered in Haikou City, Hainan Province, it has five campuses: Danzhou, Haikou, Zhanjiang, Wenchang (to be built) and Sanya (to be built), of which Danzhou Campus covers an area of more than 5,400 mu, Haikou Campus covers an area of nearly 400 mu, and Zhanjiang Campus covers an area of more than 7,500 mu, with a scientific research base of more than 60,000 mu. There are 14 scientific research institutions in "two provinces and six cities" in Hainan and Guangdong.
