There is no tension in the high school college entrance examination, and there is no pressure to take exams from time to time every semester. At most, the university final exam, a few days before the exam, basically passed.

Perhaps, you think that law students will be fine as long as they pass the law exam in senior three.

Some people think that the most difficult thing for law students is the law exam. As long as they pass the law exam, nothing else is a problem. I don't just choose judges, prosecutors or lawyers. As smart as yourself, it takes six months and months to review before you can pass.

However, if you really want to be a lawyer, judge or prosecutor, passing the law exam is only the minimum requirement, and every law student who is going to engage in these industries must cross this threshold.

Do you know what the college law students really took?

The real test is not whether you pass the law exam, but whether you can solve the problem of your survival and development, whether you can get married and support your family, and whether you can realize your life dream and life value.

Lawyers, judges, prosecutors, etc. They are all professions with higher professional requirements, and they also have higher requirements for the legal practice ability of law students.

I am a lawyer, so I will take a lawyer as an example to talk about my thoughts and suggestions.

(A) early determination

The sooner each law student determines his career direction, the better, because everyone's time, energy and resources are limited. The sooner you determine your career direction and your ambition in your freshman and sophomore year, the more time, energy and resources you can invest, and the better your professional experience, accumulation and resources you can get.

Junior has no time to prepare for the law exam, and senior has no time to practice and find a job.

(2) Pay attention to the study of legal basis and system theory.

Some law students may feel that the teaching materials and legal theory knowledge in the classroom are boring and empty, not close to the reality of life, not interested in learning or not very useful.

In particular, some people have not made their own career plans, and feel that they must engage in lawyers, judges or prosecutors in the future.

However, what I want to ask is, is the time when you don't study hard in class yours?

You sit in class and don't study. Aren't you wasting time?

What time is it? Time is a part of life, and wasting time is wasting your own life.

Moreover, these legal foundations and systematic theories are of great help to you after employment. On the one hand, they can help you adapt to this industry quickly, and they can also help you solve many practical legal problems and reduce the pressure of handling cases or handling affairs. On the other hand, they are very important for building your self-confidence.

(C) Pay attention to social practice

Some colleges and universities do not pay enough attention to and cultivate the legal practice ability of law students.

If the school really can't help, law students should fight for it themselves.

For every law student, to know which road to take and which profession to choose, you must first have a deep understanding of this profession and industry.

If you only know its good side, it is easy to be blindly optimistic. When you really enter that industry and feel the cruel baptism of society, you are easily hit and unable to persist.

If you only know its bad side, it is easy to be blindly pessimistic and full of fear of entering the business. Even if you are lucky enough to enter, it is easy to be timid, easy to miss opportunities and waste your youth.

So, how to understand an industry and a profession?

There are three main practical methods.

1. Make full use of the resources around you

You can learn about it through books and the Internet, such as Baidu, 360, WeChat, Zhihu Platform, Non-litigation, French Open, French Open and other legal platform websites.

You can also learn from teachers, classmates, relatives and friends who have such experience. These people themselves are the best in the profession of lawyers, judges or prosecutors. If you really don't know such people, you can try to get to know them.

2. Fully cherish the resources of the school.

Law schools basically have mock trials, and sometimes lawyers, judges, prosecutors or legal scholars are invited to give lectures or broadcast online classes. Such an opportunity should be cherished as much as possible.

3. Pay attention to legal practice

Compared with the above two, the better way is to do this job, preferably part-time. If not, try to practice in this industry, such as practicing in a law firm and practicing in the public security department.

I know that it is not easy to find such an opportunity compared with a freshman or a sophomore, but it is not without such an opportunity.

Most importantly, do you know the necessity of this kind of internship? Do you have the heart and intention?

Do you have the courage to visit the law firm in person and work hard?

(d) Pay attention to writing, speaking and networking.

Lawyers, judges and prosecutors all have higher requirements for writing.

If a law student's writing ability is too poor, it will be quite painful to write legal documents after entering the profession.

Because these legal documents need to be created word for word on the basis of understanding the facts of the case and the legal provisions, there is no place to copy them.

Moreover, writing can not only improve one's writing level, sum up one's experience and knowledge and sublimate one's thoughts, but also participate in competitions, contribute articles, win prizes, make friends and accumulate contacts.

The ability to speak is also crucial for the career development of lawyers, judges and prosecutors.

In short, the more these skills, the better, the stronger the better!
