Professional qualification of translation

I. Evidence

Two, the translation professional qualification (level) examination grade division and professional ability

(1) Advanced translation: I have been engaged in translation for a long time, have extensive scientific and cultural knowledge and leading bilingual translation ability in China, can solve major problems in translation work, and have made great contributions to the development of translation career and personnel training in theory and practice.

(2) First-class level in interpretation, translation and translation: I have rich scientific and cultural knowledge and high bilingual translation ability, and can be competent in a wide range of difficult translation work, solve difficult problems in translation work, and interpret or finalize translations for important international conferences.

(3) Second-level interpretation, translation and translation: Have certain scientific and cultural knowledge and good bilingual translation ability, and be competent for translation work in a certain range and difficulty.

(4) Three-level interpretation, translation and translation: Have basic scientific and cultural knowledge and general bilingual translation ability, and be able to complete general translation work.

Third, the qualification examination method

(1) Senior translators have passed the examination, and applicants must have a first-class interpretation or translation qualification (level) certificate;

(2) First-level interpretation, translation and translation are obtained by combining examination and evaluation.

(3) Level-2 interpretation, translation and translation, and Level-3 interpretation, translation and translation adopt unified syllabus, unified proposition and unified standard examination methods.

Six, the other one

1, the translation professional qualification (level) certificate shall be registered regularly once every three years. Before the expiration of the validity period, the holder shall go through the formalities of re-registration at the designated institution as required. Re-registration requires proof of continuing education or business training.

2. For those who have obtained the qualification (level) certificate of second-class interpreter, translator or third-class interpreter and translator and meet the professional requirements of translators or assistant translators in the Trial Provisions on Professional Positions of Translators, the employing unit may employ corresponding positions as needed.

3. After the implementation of the national unified examination for the corresponding languages of Grade II interpretation, translation translation and Grade III interpretation, translation translation, the qualification examination for the professional positions of translation and translation assistance in the corresponding languages will no longer be conducted.

4. With the consent of the relevant state departments, foreigners and professionals from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who are allowed to work in People's Republic of China (PRC) and meet the requirements of these Provisions may also sign up for the professional qualification (level) examination of translators and apply for registration.
