What does Yada mean?

A virus.

It was famous in the American comedy Seinfeld from 65438 to 0997. According to Webster's dictionary, "Yada Yada" means "boring or empty dialogue" and is usually used as an exclamation, especially when telling words that are considered too boring or too predictable to repeat.

According to Jana Batovska of the Australian Agricultural Bioscience Centre, this almost sums up the Yada Yada virus.

The research team extracted RNA from a large number of mosquitoes in Victoria, Australia, and found a new alpha virus-this virus genus includes Chikungunya fever virus and equine encephalitis virus. The former caused epidemics in dozens of countries, and the latter broke out abnormally in the United States in 20 19.

But this new virus poses no threat to humans: it is part of a virus that only infects mosquitoes.

It is not uncommon to find new alpha viruses that only infect insects by expanding the data. For example, on 20 12, researchers reported that Eilat virus was found in Anopheles in the Negev desert of Israel. 20 18 Virunga virus was also extracted from Culex pipiens in Zambia. Then, in 20 19, Aguasad virus also from Culex pipiens was found in Panama. ...

But Batovska said that this does not mean that the discovery is useless. "Mosquito-specific viruses can help us understand how viruses evolve, which is very useful for vaccine production and disease diagnosis."
