Mr Gong Daoyong was born in a "Gong Fan" family. I have been studying with my father since I was a teenager. In September, he won the gold medal in the 7th China Sanpin Expo. In 2008, Gong Yaoxuan's "Zhao Jun" bamboo silk fan won the bronze prize in the exhibition of works of China Arts and Crafts Masters. In 2008, Gong Qian won the second prize in the Asia-Pacific Youth Handmade Weaving Skills Competition at the 2008 World Handicraft Congress and 16 world crafts council Congress.

In order to better inherit this unique folk art, the municipal government has always attached great importance to supporting Gong Fan. In June 2002, the municipal government allocated special funds to set up Gong Fan Bamboo Art Co., Ltd., with Gong Qian as the manager, and recruited 10 students to teach skills.
