Hangzhou Dianzi University is a teaching and research university with outstanding electronic information characteristics, obvious advantages in economic management, and mutual penetration of engineering, science, economics, management, literature, law and art. It was founded in 1956. The original name of the school was Hangzhou Aviation Industry Finance and Economics School, and it passed through Hangzhou Aviation Industry School, Zhejiang Electric Machinery Institute, Zhejiang Machinery Industry School, Hangzhou Radio Industry Management School and Hangzhou Radio Industry School. 1980 Hangzhou institute of electronic technology was established with the approval of the State Council. In 2003, the original Hangzhou Publishing School was integrated and renamed Hangzhou Dianzi University in 2004.
