Chapter 2 Responsibilities, Rights and Obligations Article 7 Auxiliary police officers shall carry out auxiliary police work in accordance with regulations under the command of the public security organs or the leadership of the people's police.

The consequences of the auxiliary police's performance of their duties in accordance with the law shall be borne by the public security agency where they work. Article 8 Civilian auxiliary police can assist the people's police in carrying out the following work:

If corresponding qualifications are required by law to carry out the work in the preceding paragraph, corresponding professional qualifications shall be obtained. Article 9 The service auxiliary police shall assist in carrying out the following work under the command of the public security organ or the leadership of the people's police in accordance with the law:

(1) Accept and handle the masses' requests for help and resolve conflicts and disputes in accordance with the law;

( 2) Carry out publicity and education on social security prevention, traffic safety, drug control, etc.;

(3) Divert traffic, discourage and correct traffic safety violations;

(5) Carry out services such as collecting and registering information on the floating population;

(6) ) Carry out patrols, duties, and safety inspections;

(7) Stop ongoing illegal and criminal activities;

Article 10 The service auxiliary police, under the leadership of the people's police, assist in carrying out the following work in accordance with the law:

(1) Rental housing security management, special industries, drug control, immigration, border inspection, exit and entry and other related management service activities ;

(2) Implement traffic control and traffic safety inspections;

(3) Assist in interrogation, blocking, monitoring, and custody of persons suspected of committing crimes;

(4) Receive case reports, register cases, receive evidence, collect information, mediate, serve documents, etc.;

(5) Treat drunken people who behave out of control and commit violent acts Mental patients assist in taking temporary protective restraint measures;

(6) Management of case handling and supervision sites;

(7) Maintaining the order of large public events;

(8) Participate in the handling of emergencies (incidents);

(9) Other work that can be carried out in accordance with the law. Article 11 During the performance of their duties, service auxiliary police officers shall be equipped with necessary duty and safety protection equipment, and may drive police vehicles, boats and other means of transportation; In emergencies, the people's police can assist in the use of restraint police equipment under the leadership of the people's police. Article 12 Auxiliary police officers shall not engage in the following work:

(1) Handling matters involving state secrets;

(2) Case investigation and evidence collection, issuance of appraisal reports, and identification of liability for traffic accidents ;

(3) Implement criminal coercive measures;

(4) Make administrative decisions;

(5) Review cases;

(6) Keeping weapons and police equipment;

(7) Other work prohibited by laws, regulations and relevant national regulations.
