Shenyang Normal University, located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, was organized and supervised by the Liaoning Provincial People's Government, and was selected into the "Excellent Legal Talents Education and Training Plan" and "Excellent Teachers Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education. It was the first batch of pilot universities to carry out comprehensive reform of professional degree postgraduate education. Shenyang Normal University was founded in 195 1. Its predecessor was Northeast Institute of Education, and 1953 was renamed shenyang normal College. 1965 was renamed Liaoning first normal college; 1978 Restore the name of shenyang normal College. In 2002, Shenyang Normal University and Liaoning Institute of Education merged to form Shenyang Normal University.
