Gansu Rail Transit School is the only full-time public vocational school in Gansu Province approved by the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Gansu Province. Its main task is to train professional and technical personnel in rail transit. Since its establishment 29 years ago, the school has trained a large number of skilled talents for the railway system.

The school has six campuses: West Campus, East Campus, Yuzhong Campus, Qin Long Campus and North Campus of Gansu Rail Transit Technical School, covering an area of nearly 1,000 mu, with well-equipped teaching buildings, apartment buildings, multimedia classrooms, computer classrooms and voice classrooms.
