How to buy a ticket for Nanjing tram?

There are many ways to purchase tickets for Nanjing Tram 1 Line. You can scan the code with mobile phone Alipay, or you can pay with change. If you don't have any change, you can also use the change next to the ticket vending machine and pay.

1. To pay with Alipay, you need to apply for the boarding code in Alipay first. Update Alipay to the latest version, then search for "city" in the search bar at the top of the homepage, enter "city service", and then apply for the bus code. After the application is successful, scan the code to pay the ticket.

Precautions:

When scanning code, aim the phone at the camera for a short distance. Don't stick it on the camera or shake it violently. If you don't hear the ticking sound for about three seconds, adjust the direction and scan again.

2. The scanning code system on some station gates is broken, so you can pay the ticket with change, and then put it into the money collection port after the change machine changes coins.
