Talk to the designer

After the first step, you can basically choose a few designers you want to talk about. Decoration is a big deal, but we still have to meet and talk.

A designer began to communicate with the owner of the house, and if he came up, he would tell the owner about his experience. . . . Basically, the owner can talk to another designer.

Why? Everyone has his own way of life, and neither the best dynamic line of case A nor the best layout of case B can be absolutely applied.

A good designer will first ask: What are your needs?

The owner can give the designer some photos of the finished product you want. A good designer can tell the process, materials and approximate budget price. This is very helpful for the owner to choose the main materials and control the budget.

4. Choose a designer who will "fight back" the owner.

The owner is not a decoration expert. When I was decorating before, I met a designer who was given free by the decoration team and said, "Whatever you say, just do what you want."

After the owner has sorted out the requirements, a good designer can arrange them according to the priority. Then, a solution can be provided. And can remind the host of future problems.

For example, I told my designer that I wanted to separate the bathroom. My designer told me clearly: yes, but at the expense of the second bedroom area, from the perspective of demand, it is recommended not to. After moving in, it was proved that it was right to ensure storage space and sacrifice three separate bathrooms. After all, there are two bathrooms at home.

For example, I proposed floor heating+central air conditioning. My designer said: choose one of the two, or your height will be lowered. By the way, remind me that choosing the system window is helpful for energy saving and environmental protection.

Designers need to help owners avoid pits in decoration. Don't choose designers who can't come up with suggestions and solutions!

5. Designer's drawings

Either draw a layout or design a work.

Six. The designer's ability to coordinate the team
