The object and goal of the pre-service training program for young people This program aims to provide effective help for young people who have given up their education in juvenile reformatory to return to society and embark on a healthy and positive development track, and reduce the recidivism rate. The ways of assistance include material assistance, psychological consultation, life planning consultation, providing continuing education and developing social support. Two. Organizer and Co-organizer This project is sponsored by Liao Humanities Foundation and Guangzhou Children's Palace, and assisted by Department of Social Work of Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou Youth Volunteers Association and Zhang (in his personal capacity) of Juvenile Education College. Three. Objectives of the Exploration Period In order to achieve the objectives of the youth pre-service training program, a set of practical assistance programs must be explored within six months to one year after the program starts, so as to meet the different needs of various overdue teenagers in juvenile detention centers and effectively help them work and live healthily and actively. Four. Work content in exploration period 1. Work standards: comprehensively count the types and characteristics of customers, then formulate multiple aid routes, and determine the budget and closing standards for each aid route; 2. Establish a "temporary shelter": set up two jobs as the first resettlement place for customers who leave the hospital at the end of the term, and receive basic work quality training and 1-2 months of life planning assistance; 3. Establish a number of "receiving points": establish contact and cooperation relations with various businesses and factories in Guangzhou, so that the clients can engage in formal work and begin to learn to live independently after the "temporary shelter" stage; 4. Explore ways to provide continuing education assistance to customers after leaving school; 5. Strive for social resources: cooperate with the media to attract wider social attention and introduce support funds. Organizer and Co-organizer This project is jointly sponsored by Liao Humanities Foundation, Guangzhou Children's Palace and Guangzhou Youth Rehabilitation Management Office, and jointly undertaken by Department of Social Work of Sun Yat-sen University and Qizhi Service Team of Guangzhou Youth Volunteers Association. Third, review the achievements of the exploration period 1. Two interns of CUHK completed their internship and the summary of the first stage, which provided a reference precedent for the follow-up work. 2. On October 20th, 2007, Guangzhou Children's Palace, Liao Humanities Fund Management Committee, Guangzhou Youth Rehabilitation Management Office, Department of Social Work of Sun Yat-sen University, and Guangzhou Youth Volunteer Service Team jointly held the release ceremony of "Youth Pre-service Training Plan-Laying a Runway for Lost Teenagers", and formally recruited volunteers to participate in the planned service. 3. Five follow-up teams composed of young volunteers from Guangzhou started their follow-up work from June 5th to 10, 2007, and submitted their follow-up reports on the 5th of each month. Status of recipients (anonymous): A: They have stable jobs and gradually become the backbone members of the program, shouldering the work of "temporary shelter" managers. I have a regular job, with the help of CUHK interns, I find a place to live and live a stable life. C: I have a regular job, but I have bad gambling habits. I need volunteers to help me make my life plan. D: Unemployed jobs, family difficulties and bad hobbies are the key targets of the plan. E: I have a regular job, my performance is affirmed by my employer, and my life is stable. F: Go back to the countryside with the help of the Foundation. Iv. promotion tasks 1. Carry out in-hospital assistance education programs, including one-on-one assistance education, collective and group planning and publicity, psychological counseling, life planning guidance, etc.; 2. Improve various forms of assistance after leaving school, including returning home assistance, follow-up guidance services, and continuing education assistance. Strive to help and educate 20 juvenile delinquents, with more than 30 cases; 3. Strive for the government's affirmation and support for the exploration results of this plan, so as to popularize the successful experience and benefit more young people who have lost their feet; 4. Continue to carry out various publicity and social contact work, strive for wider social attention and support, and open up "temporary shelters" and "receiving points"; 5. Compile the Guidance Manual for Youth Pre-service Training Program Tracking Service Volunteers, guide and standardize the tracking guidance of volunteers, and organize volunteers to exchange experiences on a regular basis.
