The pain of China's convention and exhibition industry: exhibition management planning talents are scarce [return ]

Release date: April 18, 25 11: 58:

Xiamen Trade Development Bureau recently revealed that from this year, With the development of national qualification certification for this industry, exhibition planners will become sought-after talents in Xiamen. This is after the Ministry of Labor and Social Security released the second batch of ten new occupations, including exhibition planners, to the society at the end of 24, and the Xiamen Municipal Government took the lead in implementing them nationwide.

exhibition planner refers to the person who is responsible for market research, scheme planning, sales and operation management of exhibitions. In exhibition activities, project planning is one of the core tasks. As an exhibition planner, you should not only have professional industry knowledge, but also have good planning and design skills, and also have the ability to organize exhibitions and attract investment. For an exhibition, having a good exhibition planner is half the battle. Therefore, exhibition companies pay special attention to the selection of talents. This kind of compound talents, their income is also high, and their monthly salary is more than 1 thousand yuan.

however, at present, it is not available to hire such a professional at a great expense. There is no professional exhibition planner in Ningxia, a western city in China. Even the exhibition industry in Xiamen, which started in the mid-198s, is hard to find such suitable talents. This is all caused by the lag of exhibition talents. According to the statistics of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, there are currently more than 1 million exhibition employees in China, including about 15, managers at all levels engaged in business planning, and there is a lack of talents who really understand the exhibition industry in various places.

so is the present situation in Shanghai. At present, the number of exhibitions held in Shanghai has reached more than 3, and there are nearly 2, enterprises related to exhibitions, including 511 enterprises mainly engaged in exhibitions and 24 enterprises qualified to host international exhibitions, with a total exhibition area of nearly 17, square meters. In contrast, there is a shortage of senior management talents for exhibitions. A program of Shanghai Normal University Tourism College.
