Deqing County is located in the west of Guangdong Province, on the north bank of the middle reaches of Xijiang River, 84 kilometers east of Zhaoqing, bordering Gaoyao City. It is 79 kilometers west of Wuzhou and adjacent to Fengkai County. Huaiji and Guangning counties are connected to the north; South and Yun 'an, Yun 'an two counties across the river.
