Professional requirements of chief engineer

College degree or above, majoring in marine engineering management or navigation, must hold the certificate of competency as chief engineer.

Physical health, especially eyesight, hearing and oral expression ability, should meet the corresponding requirements, pass the special training recognized by the competent authority and obtain the special training certificate, and have the ability to analyze faults quickly, decisively and accurately, judge faults and eliminate them in time.
