What is the relationship between Beijing Armed Police Corps and Beijing Armed Police Fire Corps?
Let me explain something to you.
The Armed Police Force has five police types: Internal Security Force, Hydropower Force, Traffic Force, Gold Force and Forest Force.
The internal security forces are directly under the Armed Police Headquarters. Each province/autonomous region/municipality directly under the Central Government has a corps (deputy commander level), and there are 14 mobile divisions in China, which are directly led by the Armed Police Headquarters.
The name of the internal security force does not indicate the police type, and it is directly called "Armed Police XX Force". For example, Beijing Armed Police Corps, Changsha Armed Police Detachment and 86 1 1 Armed Police Force are all internal security forces.
The other four types of police are professional police forces, led by four police headquarters (corps level) under the Armed Police Headquarters, under the operational guidance of relevant state ministries (before 1999, the situation was just the opposite, led by ministries and under the military and political guidance of the Armed Police Headquarters).
The names of these units are all marked with the names of police types, such as the First Armed Police Traffic Corps, the Tenth Armed Police Gold Detachment and the Sichuan Forest Corps.
However, the term "armed police" not only refers to the armed police force, but also includes the public security forces in active service, that is, the public security frontier defense, fire fighting and security forces. The armed police forces in active service and the public security forces form the "armed police force sequence", which is also the "armed police" in a broad sense.
The public security forces in active service are subordinate to the Ministry of Public Security, and the border control bureau (fourth bureau), fire bureau (seventh bureau) and guard bureau (eighth bureau) under the Ministry of Public Security are all corps-level active forces.
The bureaus, public security departments and public security bureaus of municipalities directly under the Central Government jointly manage the frontier defense corps, fire fighting corps and safety bureaus of all provinces/autonomous regions/municipalities directly under the Central Government.
There is no subordinate relationship between the active public security forces and the armed police forces, but they are also called "armed police" because they are included in the armed police sequence and receive the guidance of the armed police forces in military and other aspects. Therefore, the active public security forces have two names-public security frontier defense, fire protection forces and armed police frontier defense and fire protection forces, which are actually the same thing.
