The technical qualification examination for health professionals is to meet the needs of China's personnel system reform, and is jointly organized and implemented by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Health. In principle, it is held once a year, usually in the middle and late May.

The results of each subject of the corresponding major are managed in a rolling way, with a cycle of two years. You can obtain a vocational qualification certificate by passing four subjects of the same major in two consecutive examination years.

Health professional and technical qualification examination by the Ministry of health talent exchange center is responsible for all the examination work such as registration and qualification examination. The Talent Exchange Service Center of the Ministry of Health and the state administration of traditional chinese medicine Traditional Chinese Medicine Qualification Certification Center are respectively responsible for the propositions and papers of Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine.

Health professional and technical qualification examination results of the corresponding professional subjects are subject to two-year rolling management, and the professional qualification certificate can be obtained if four subjects of the same major pass the examination in two consecutive examination years. Different majors (including majors and sub-majors), the qualified scores of each subject shall not be calculated as the same major.

Those who have participated in some professional examinations of health professional and technical qualifications must use the original file number when signing up for the rest of the subject examinations within the prescribed time limit. For those who pass the single-subject examination within the validity period and pass the examination in the field due to job changes, the local personnel department will issue a vocational qualification certificate.
