Legal Analysis: In the second half of 20021,the Security Bureau openly recruited police assistants for the society. In order to strengthen the public security management in our county, further improve the ability of public security prevention and control, and alleviate the problem of insufficient police force at the grass-roots level, the Liping County Public Security Bureau plans to openly recruit police assistants to the society after being reviewed by the Political and Legal Committee of the county party committee and approved by the county party committee and the county government.

Legal basis: People's Police Law of the People's Republic of China.

Article 6 The people's police of public security organs shall perform the following duties according to the division of responsibilities:

(a) to prevent, stop and investigate illegal and criminal activities;

(2) Maintaining public order and stopping acts endangering public order;

(3) Maintaining traffic safety and traffic order and handling traffic accidents;

(four) to organize the implementation of fire control work, the implementation of fire supervision;

(five) the management of firearms, ammunition, controlled knives and inflammable, explosive, toxic, radioactive and other dangerous goods;

(six) the management of special industries as stipulated by laws and regulations;

(seven) to guard the specific personnel specified by the state and guard the important places and facilities;

(8) Managing assemblies, processions and demonstrations;

(nine) the management of housework, nationality, entry and exit affairs and foreigners' residence and travel in China;

(ten) to maintain public order in the country (border);

(eleven) the execution of criminal punishment for criminals sentenced to criminal detention and deprivation of political rights;

(twelve) to supervise and manage the security protection of computer information systems;

(thirteen) to guide and supervise the public security work of state organs, social organizations, enterprises and institutions and key construction projects, and to guide the public security prevention work of mass organizations such as public security committees;

(fourteen) other duties as prescribed by laws and regulations.

Twenty-second people's police shall not have the following acts:

(1) Spreading remarks damaging the reputation of the country, joining illegal organizations, participating in assemblies, processions, demonstrations and other activities aimed at opposing the country, and participating in strikes;

(2) divulging state secrets and police work secrets;

(three) practicing fraud, concealing the case, shielding and conniving at illegal and criminal activities;

(4) extorting confessions by torture, corporal punishment or maltreating criminals;

(five) illegally depriving or restricting the personal freedom of others, and illegally searching the body, articles, residence or place of others;

(six) extortion or soliciting or accepting bribes;

(seven) beating others or instructing others to beat others;

(eight) illegal punishment or charge fees;

(nine) accept the parties and their agents to treat and give gifts;

(10) engaging in profit-making business activities or being employed by any individual or organization;

(eleven) dereliction of duty, do not perform their statutory obligations;

(twelve) other violations of law and discipline.

Article 48 People's policemen who commit any of the acts listed in Article 22 of this Law shall be given administrative sanctions. If a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law.

Administrative sanctions are divided into: warning, demerit recording, demerit recording, demotion, dismissal and dismissal. The people's police who are subject to administrative sanctions may lower their police ranks or cancel their police ranks in accordance with relevant state regulations.
