Military and civilian age limit

The requirements of the military for civilian age are: those who apply for management positions below the deputy division level or junior professional and technical positions at the department level shall not be over 35 years old; Those who apply for department-level chief management positions or intermediate professional and technical positions are not over 45 years old.

Military and civilian application conditions:

(1) Political conditions. Applicants should meet the criteria for political assessment of civilian personnel recruited by the military.

(2) education. The applicant should have a full-time undergraduate degree or above in an ordinary university. It is not required to apply for full-time positions in hard and remote areas and islands, as well as special positions. Units stationed in hard and remote areas and islands may recruit military martyrs, spouses and children of soldiers who died in the line of duty, brothers and sisters of unmarried military martyrs, and spouses of active-duty soldiers. In addition to teaching, scientific research, engineering, medical and other professional and technical positions, the requirements for applying for academic qualifications can be relaxed to junior college. Applicants for nursing, art and sports positions may have college education or above.

(3) qualifications. Applicants should have the professional titles and qualifications required by the recruitment position. Unless clearly stipulated by laws and regulations, those who apply for junior professional and technical posts and doctoral students who apply for intermediate professional and technical posts are not required to meet the qualifications.

(4) physical condition. Applicants should meet the standard conditions for military recruitment of civilian personnel.

(5) age conditions. Those who apply for management positions or junior professional and technical positions below the deputy level at the department level shall not be over 35 years old; Those who apply for department-level chief management positions or intermediate professional and technical positions are not over 45 years old.

(6) Other conditions. On the premise of meeting the above basic conditions, the specific application conditions are determined by the employer according to the needs of the recruitment position.

Military civilian personnel are recruited for graduates of ordinary colleges and universities or social talents. Among them: graduates of ordinary colleges and universities include fresh graduates and non-fresh graduates, and fresh graduates refer to graduates who have obtained corresponding diplomas and degree certificates before the specified date of the year of application; Non-fresh graduates refer to those who have not implemented their work units during the two-year employment period, and their household registration, files and organizational relations remain in the original graduation school.

The Regulations on Civilian Personnel of the Chinese People's Liberation Army was promulgated by Order No.438 of the State Council, People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Central Military Commission (CMC), People's Republic of China (PRC) on June 23, 2005, and revised by Order No.689 of the State Council, People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Central Military Commission (CMC), People's Republic of China (PRC) on September 27, 2006. The regulations are divided into general principles, basic conditions, obligations and rights, post setting, recruitment and employment, training and assessment, post appointment and removal, post grade modulation, education and management, treatment guarantee and personnel withdrawal. Supplementary Provisions 1 1, with 62 articles in total, shall come into force as of the date of promulgation.
