Luzhou Changjiang Machinery Co., Ltd. used to be a state-owned enterprise, but now it is not. Luzhou Changjiang Machinery Co., Ltd. was founded in 1964 and is a state-owned enterprise. Entering the automobile parts manufacturing industry in 1960s, it is the earliest enterprise in China to produce automobile synchronizer gear rings. 1998 completed the restructuring of state-owned enterprises and became a limited liability company with full shareholding. In 2004, it was restructured again and became a private enterprise with sole legal ownership, with 470 employees.
