Chongyi Middle School, founded in 194 1, is a provincial key middle school in Jiangxi Province. Over the years, the school has established the school philosophy of "all for the students, all for the students", always put teaching work in the first place, strengthened teaching management, actively carried out teaching reform, and delivered a large number of talents to the society every year.

Formerly known as "Chongyi County Junior High School". After liberation, it was renamed as "Chongyi County Junior Middle School". High school was founded in 1958 and renamed as "Chongyi Middle School in Jiangxi Province". 196 1 was named "Chongyi Middle School in Jiangxi Province". 1978 was designated as the first batch of key middle schools in Jiangxi province.

1995 passed the evaluation of the running level of key middle schools in Jiangxi Province again. In July 2002, the foundation stone was laid for the new campus, which was completed in August 2005. Since August 2006, the new and old campuses have run schools independently, which are divided into Chongyi Middle School and Bird Middle School. In 20 12, Chongyi Middle School was rated as "Excellent Key Middle School in Jiangxi Province" by the Provincial Department of Education.

This is the third school in our city to receive this honor after Ganzhou No.3 Middle School and Ruijin No.1 Middle School since the introspection education department carried out the evaluation of ordinary high schools in the province.
