Park overview of Taishan·Taian Dawenkou Gypsum Industrial Park

In accordance with the guiding ideology of "leading science and technology, supporting resources, and in-depth expansion", the park has formulated the development strategy of "resource-based economic consolidation park, circular economic development park, and innovative economic prosperity park" to continuously strengthen Investment promotion, project construction and environmental construction. In 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, the tax revenue was 15 million yuan, 46 million yuan, 153 million yuan, 200 million yuan and 229 million yuan respectively. A circular economy industrial chain is initially formed based on the Xinkuang Group’s thermal power plant, water coal washing plant, gypsum board factory, building materials processing center, Daiyue refined salt, Taishan Salt Chemical Industry, and the rich gypsum and rock salt resources in the Dawenkou Basin. It is expected that the park will have 9 new industrial enterprises above designated size in 2010, with a total production value of 4 billion yuan and a tax revenue of 260 million yuan. Since its establishment, the park has won honorary titles such as "Advanced Unit in Service Economic Construction", "Advanced Unit in Key Project Construction", "Advanced Unit in Economic Work", and "Advanced Unit in Fixed Asset Investment" for many consecutive years.
