How many red star power plants are there in Hami?

There are two Hongxing power plants in Hami, namely Hongxing No.1 Power Plant and Hongxing No.2 Power Plant. Hongxing No.1 Power Plant, located in the eastern suburb of Hami City, was built at 1958. It is the first large-scale thermal power plant designed and built by itself in New China, and was once one of the landmark projects of China's coal industry. Hongxing No.2 Power Plant, located in the southern suburb of Hami City, was built at 1976. It is a large-scale thermal power plant based on cogeneration and one of the important energy bases in Xinjiang. Both power plants are named after Red Star, so they are collectively called Red Star Power Plant.
