Study experience in Dalian International Studies University

I am currently studying in the English College of Dalian International Studies University, a junior.

Regarding the learning experience of Dalian International Studies University, I will answer it from the following aspects.

First, professional learning and teaching staff.

The advantages of foreign universities are English and Japanese. South Korea and Russia are also rich in small languages, such as Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. The School of Software also has some software-related majors, such as computers. And the Art College also has related majors, such as art and music. Students can choose their major according to their scores and interests.

Take my English major as an example. There are many courses in the school, including foreign teachers' courses, so that we can practice oral English. Most of the teachers who teach our professional courses are experienced, and they are basically professors and associate professors. Sometimes some professional courses will be taught by the (deputy) dean himself ~ The classroom of English College adopts discussion desks and chairs, which can be split and merged to discuss problems in class and so on. Some course teachers have adopted a new type of flipped classroom teaching mode. Students are the main part of the classroom, and they often express their opinions and show the most common demonstrations.

But the main study still depends on yourself, and you must be self-disciplined to get good grades ~

Second, the school environment

? Dalian International Studies University is located in Lushunkou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, near the sea, and the Dalian Medical University next to it is adjacent to the sea. So there is a strong sea breeze here all year round, but it is not as sultry as the inland areas in summer, so it is more livable. There is Yangming Lake on campus, which is a good place to relax. There is a pavilion by the lake, and there are African geese artificially fed by the school. It's very cute.

Three. Accommodation and living conditions

The dormitories for undergraduate students in the school are all four-person dormitories, and there is no separate bathroom, but it is more convenient to go to bed and get off the table. There is no bath in the school dormitory, but there are public toilets, washing machines, hot water rooms and so on. Bathing can be done in the comprehensive building or in the bath shop near the gymnasium.

Sports venues have gymnasiums and playgrounds, and it seems that a new gymnasium is still being built ~

There are often basketball and volleyball games in the gym.

Four. Dietary conditions (canteen, comprehensive building)

There are two main places to eat in class: canteen and comprehensive building, and of course there are some small restaurants opened in other places, such as Liuyuan.

The dining room has three floors. There are all kinds of breakfasts, hot pot chicken and so on on the first floor. The second floor is rich in dishes, fried, boiled, fried and stewed, and it is often full at noon. On the third floor is the ethnic restaurant, which is delicious and can taste many Xinjiang delicacies, such as Xinjiang saute spicy chicken, mutton soup and so on.

On the first floor of the complex building, there are mainly various tea shops and shops, including telecom business hall, shops with keys and glasses repair, shops with manicure, hairdressing and ear piercing on the second floor, and several restaurants and supermarkets with complete goods. The third floor is mainly a place to eat ~

There may be some new things in summer, such as barbecue stalls that are now being roasted and sold ~

Verb (short for verb) travel

Generally, we will take a taxi to the nearby 12 subway station, and then take the subway to all parts of the city. It costs about 9 yuan to take a taxi from Dawai to the nearest subway station.
