Education and training: College degree or above in surveying and mapping major such as engineering surveying and mapping engineering. Certificate of junior, middle and senior surveyor, technician/senior technician in surveying and mapping industry.

Usually, the certificates obtained by civil engineering, roads and bridges and other non-surveying and mapping majors (surveying and mapping related majors) are called: surveying and setting-out certificates or certificates of engineering surveyors and surveying and mapping engineers obtained by the construction departments of some provincial training institutions.
