Shanyou Garden, the Wizard of Oz hidden in the mountains of Wuxi

Bowen's Shanyou Garden has been wanting to go for two years and has never had a chance. I finally made an appointment, but it rained again. Fortunately, when afternoon came, the rain stopped!

Several cherry blossoms in the garden, pink petals fall all over the lawn and pond, and the mountains in the distance are looming. The freshness after the rain adds a touch of moisture to this garden hidden in the mountains of Wuxi. The lush world seems to have entered the Wizard of Oz.

This garden is located at the foot of Zhang Jun Mountain in the southwest corner of Wuxi. I drove along the mountain road and almost missed it. Parked the car, walked down the steps and went to An Deyu. It's like being in another world in an instant.

The cherry blossoms were the most brilliant a few days ago. After the rain, the petals fell to the ground, and the wind chimes hung on the branches and swayed. A gust of wind blew, and the petal rain was falling, which was simply beautiful.

From the arch covered with vines and the moon, the line of sight passes through, and the snowflakes under the cherry trees have faded, and the corn poppy is brilliant.

The peony "Xiangyu" has blossomed, and there is a golden Tang Di with a pink purse peony on the small slope.

Pocket peony can't accumulate water, which is very suitable for small hills. This cluster has grown for many years.

Shanyou Garden is on the hillside. A few years ago, it was a barren orchard, which was rented by the owner and two friends.

Shanyou is the homonym of "Three Friends".

The terrain of the garden is very steep, and the owner designed seven planes here, descending step by step along the steps. Each floor is undulating and wide, with all kinds of flowers and trees, which has become a patchwork landscape.

Sleeper steps, arches, stone fences, flower ponds, umbrellas made of old stumps and fences made of branches in the garden are all integrated with various natural materials. Also let flowers and plants grow naturally.

On both sides of the steps, Ligustrum lucidum trimmed into cubes and umbrellas is also very interesting.

There are several buildings in the garden, which are left over from the orchard and reconstructed. It is also a place where people usually come to the garden for rest and activities.

The lawn and pond under the cherry tree are full of petals.

The vine and the moon arch pass through, and there is another open space, planted with rape flowers.

In the lowest place in the middle of the garden, part of it is paved with bricks, the surrounding fence is covered with vines and the moon, and the wisteria on the wooden balcony also has buds.

Xiao Liuhe and her friends set tables and chairs on the lawn, brought snacks and handmade coffee, sat here for a while and felt the air in the mountains.

In fact, I didn't study hard in the mountain garden. Everywhere I go, I can't help but photograph those "gyro fruit trees" most of the time. They belong to the family Styradaceae, just like the scale tree. Pink flowers are like fairies dancing on branches, so beautiful that people can't move their eyes!

There are many treasures in the garden. Because of the time, there is no search one by one. The owner of the garden is low-key and arrogant, sneaking around by himself.

In fact, I have said many times that Wuxi is also near, but it has been dragging on.

I believe that every encounter with the garden is fate, such as the surprise of the gyro fruit tree and the freshness after the rain.
