Edit. The Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanhua University is a standardized training base for national residents in Hengyang City, Hunan Province. The Second Affiliated Hospital of South China University was founded in 1949, formerly known as Hengyang People's Hospital. Later, it was renamed the First People's Hospital of Hengyang City, the Affiliated Hospital of Hengyang Medical College and the Affiliated Hospital of Hengyang Medical College. In 2000, it was renamed the Second Affiliated Hospital of South China University. By 2022, it will develop into a large-scale comprehensive third-class first-class hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. The hospital is divided into three levels, and the third level is the highest level, which belongs to the provincial establishment.
