Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College is a full-time comprehensive vocational college founded with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It was formed by the merger of Wenzhou Amateur University of Science and Technology, Wenzhou Business School, Wenzhou Economic School and Wenzhou Machinery Industry School. Its school history can be traced back to 1965. The school is the only advanced vocational school with China characteristics in southern Zhejiang and northern Fujian, a national model vocational college, a national high-quality vocational college, and an excellent school with the National Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Award. It is a key vocational college in Zhejiang Province.

The school has five campuses, namely, Higher Education Park Campus, Lucheng Campus, Ouhai Campus, Ruian Campus and Yongjia Campus, with a total campus area of 1.300 mu, nearly 900 faculty members and full-time students 1.200.
